A shrub or bush is a woody plant that has multiple stems from the ground or close to the ground. This is why shrubs and bushes are generally shorter than trees. The maximum height is about 3 to 4 metres (10 to 13 feet). Some say there is a difference between a shrub and a bush, but that difference is very small. That is why I use the terms "shrub" and "bush" interchangeably.
