Hosta ‘Silver Threads and Gold Needles’ is a sport from ‘Stolen Kiss’. It is a small Hosta with an average to fast growth. Not all Hostas grow well without a ray of sun, but this Hosta does well in total shade.
The leaves reach a height of about 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches). In the spring they start with a light green edge and a creme centre. Toward the summer the centre turns darker with dark green stripes.
The flower stem reaches a height of about 25 cm (10 inches) and the flowers are lilac and non-fragrant.
