The Hosta ‘Fire and Ice’ is a tetraploid Hosta (proven) and a sport from Hosta ‘Patriot’ and is a slow to very slow growing medium size Hosta.
The leaves emerge towards the end of April and are white in the centre with dark green margins. The stems of the lavender, non-fragrant flowers will grow to about 20 inches (50 cm) high.
